East Sac County Community School District
The East Sac County Community School District officially came into being on July 1, 2011, a consolidation of Sac and Wall Lake View Auburn Community School Districts. We are a PK-12 district of approximately 850 students, with an elementary school (PK-4) in Sac City, Middle School (5-8) in Sac City, and High School (9-12) in Lake View.
Virtually all school districts have a mission statement; at East Sac County we genuinely attempt to use our mission to drive our actions:
“East Sac County Schools empower all students to become productive,
responsible citizens of an ever-changing global society.”
We live this mission by focusing decisions and planning on what appears to be two very simple, straightforward questions: 1) Is this in the best interest of our students? 2) Will this help our students learn and grow? These two questions keep us focused on what is truly important about and in schools – students.
Whether you are a current or former student or parent, district patron, or someone investigating a place to raise your family, know that East Sac County Schools welcomes you.
